        Co-developed a new course for graduates/seniors in implementing Windows 2000, Internet Information Services 5.0 and SQL Server 2000 in creating an e-commerce site.
        Assisted the College of Business Administration Web center in transitioning to Windows 2000 and implementing appropriate security on a highly visible web site

Research:
Co-administrator of the Orion (Orion.kent.edu) distance learning system developed by Dr Geoffrey Steinberg. My areas of study are in systems hardening through the application of appropriate security measures balanced with mission needs in an open active learning environment [since 2000].
 
 

Grants and Awards:
Initiated a technology refresh program with a major corporate sponsor to provide the Department of Management & Information Systems with an ongoing source of networking and computing resources [2003].
 
 

Service:
Student Internship Committee member and co-author of the “Employer Guidelines for Student Internships” handbook for the Center for Information Systems, [2003] (Kent State University).
 
Webmaster and server administrator for the Management & Information Systems departmental server [since 2002].
 
Elected Doctoral Student Management Association Graduate Council Student Representative for 2003-2004 term.
